JOB DESCRIPTION

Ungärde school is looking for an engaged and secure teaching assistant who wants to help create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for students in grades 7-9. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with students who need extra support, both in the classroom and during breaks, to promote their social and academic development. Your main tasks will be to support students both individually and in smaller groups according to the teacher's planning. Help create structure and safety in the school day. Work with social training and conflict management. Be a positive role model and contribute to a good working environment. Collaborate with teachers, student health, and guardians.

During breaks, your working hours may be scheduled at after-school care or at vacation school for grades 8 and 9.

The position is 80% and is a vacation position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have experience working with children and adolescents, preferably within a school setting. You should have a good ability to build relationships and trust. It is important that you are patient, flexible, and have a solution-oriented approach to work.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of neuropsychiatric functional variations (NPF) and low-arousal responses.
